2020年6月10日，我出发前往湖南。在为期一周的行程中，收集了大大小小的“小康”故事。故事中的他们乘着风势破浪前进，为小家庭谋幸福，为大家庭谋发展，为家乡贡献自己的力量。

95后小姐姐返乡做“直播带货”

“那我觉得年轻人要耐得住寂寞了，也要能吃得了苦。年轻嘛，就是用来奋斗的。”

I feel young people should be able to endure loneliness, and also be able to withstand hardships. Your youth is meant to fight these off.

24岁的施林娇原本在城市里有一份稳定高薪的工作，2020年春节决定辞职，回到土生土长的家乡十八洞村发展。

十八洞村是精准扶贫的首倡地。这里曾是个交通闭塞，极度贫困的深山苗寨。年轻人都想到大城市工作生活。

Targeted poverty alleviation was initiated at the then poverty-stricken Shibadong village. The village has a beautiful natural scenery, but poverty was associated to it too. Young people would always think of moving to big cities to find jobs.

近年来，随着精准扶贫的深入，越来越多的年轻人选择回到家乡。施林娇就是其中一个。

As targeted poverty alleviation progressed and the overall environment and infrastructure of the village continually improved, more and more young people chose to return to their hometown to help it prosper. Shi Linjiao is one of them.

回到家乡后，施林娇一方面感慨家乡巨大的发展变化，村民盼了几十年的路修通了，经过改建后的苗寨家家户户有了稳定的水电供应，覆盖了网络信号，乡村旅游、苗绣加工、猕猴桃种植等特色产业蓬勃发展；另一方面，看到家乡富饶的特产没有打开市场而滞销，乡亲们卖不出特产，施林娇也跟着发愁。

天生一副好嗓音，加上几年在音乐学院的专业学习，以及在城市工作积累的新媒体经验，施林娇决定做直播带货，帮乡亲们卖特产。

就是（直播）我们苗族的日常生活，拍我们的农耕文化，展现我们独特的苗族文化，比如我这个苗服，在直播的时候很多人会问我要链接。

So, its about the daily lives of us Miaopeople. I would film us farming in the fields, our farming culture, and also the uniqueness of our ethnic culture —like my Miao costume. Many people will ask me for links to buy thecostume during broadcasts.

半年的努力逐渐有了成效，施林娇现在已经有了10万多的粉丝。十八洞村周边的村庄以及村里的扶贫工厂，有滞销的产品也会找她帮忙做直播销售。

“以前想都不敢想”

龙尾巴村位于张家界市武陵源区协合乡，以土家族为主，是典型的土家村落。“八山一水一分田”是龙尾巴30多年前的真实写照。

Longweiba is a typical Tujia ethnic village. It is a representative Tujia village surrounded by mountains with limited land for farming. That was the real portrayal of Longweiba more than 30 years ago.

龙尾巴由于交通闭塞，山多地少等原因，村民人均纯收入不足200元是远近闻名的穷乡僻壤。

As traffic is inaccessible and there is a lot of mountains and little land, the per capita net income of the Longweiba villagers is less than 200 yuan. It was also well-known far and near that it was a poor village in a little known region.

近年来，龙尾巴村依托自身区位优势，推动农业转型旅游业，逐渐建设成为一座幸福的小山村。四年前回乡创业的村民李平，现在已经成为龙尾巴村一家高端民宿的老板；七旬老人李发田，见证了龙尾巴的前世今生，是龙尾巴村发展变化的见证人和受益者。

谈及自己的选择，李平说：

我是本地人对家乡有一种故土情怀，有政府这么好的政策引导，也想在家乡闯出自己的一番事业。

I am a local, I feel some kind of belonging to my hometown. With the local government administering such good policies, it also made me want to create my own business opportunities in my hometown.

对在龙尾巴村生活了一辈子的李发田老人而言，出去旅游看看外面的世界曾经是不敢想的事情。而现在，他和老伴每年都要出去旅游，已经去过井冈山、杭州、上海等。

现在的这个生活比以前那要好百倍。我跟你说，就是我这个老房子，都带有卫生间。

Life is good now, a hundred times better than it used to be. Even this old house of mine, let me tell you, has got a bathroom too.

我们两个老的每年都要出去旅游，以前那就不敢想。

Both of us old folks will go on holidays every year, which was something we didn't even dare dream of before.

常德：“亲妈式”贴心服务

2019年以来，常德市委市人民政府优化政务服务，推动“一件事一次办”改革，减环节、减证、减时限，创新方式方法，改善企业和市民的服务体验。

Since 2019, the Changde municipal party committee and the municipal government have implemented the "complete the case in one go" policy. Service experience for enterprises and locals have improved with less procedures, less waiting time and innovative methods.

对于这样“一站式”的政务服务，市民感到很温暖。

以前办事好吃力，要跑好远的地方。现在事情都可以在大厅办了，希望这个政策一直坚持下去，对群众很温暖。

In the past, it was really tough to get things done. We had to travel really far to do things at different offices. But now, we can complete all the procedures in just one place. I hope this policy will continue to help the locals.

从臭水沟到碧波玉带

穿紫河如何逆袭成功

上世纪八十年代，随着工业化、城市化进程加快，穿常德市而过的穿紫河一度成为封闭的臭水沟。

In the 1980s, as industrialization and urbanization accelerated, the Chuanzi River, which runs through Changdecity, became a stinky ditch.

2004年，常德市启动穿紫河治理，逐渐完成生态修复作业。十几年的坚持，让臭水沟成功化身城市“绿腰带”。

In 2004, the Changde government started to clean the Chuanzi River and gradually completed the ecological restoration. After a decade of effort, the stinky ditch was successfully transformed into the city's "green belt".

 “小康不小康，厕所算一桩”

近年来，湖南省株洲市大力推进城区“厕所革命”，打造具有株洲特色的建宁驿站，努力补齐影响人民群众生活品质的短板，不断增强人民群众的获得感、幸福感、安全感。

仅2018-2019年，株洲市就建了200座厕所驿站。其中，60%驿站和公交站结合，建在市民最需要的地方。

在城市主干道，500米就能找到一座厕所驿站。为了缓解女厕所排队时间长的难题，驿站在人流密集地区将男女厕位比提高到1:2。厕所内采用了先进的新风系统及排臭技术，告别卫生间“闷、臭、湿”。

七天的行程结束，整理完这些故事，我对“小康”的理解更明确了。“小康”的背后，是许许多多像施林娇一样的年轻人为家乡发展献计献策，是无数像“穿紫河”生态工作者一样的普通人为维护家园默默付出。
